Pop Bottle Science

Today we took a class called "pop bottle science" at Kazoodles, the "kid powered toy store". It's one of our favorite places. There were experiments with diet coke & mentos, of course, as well as baking soda, vinegar and hot & cold water. Seleia got to help use carbonation to blow up a balloon, Elora got to start the mento flow that created a geyser, and Amarra was sure that a balloon would pop,so she kept her ears protected! (No balloons were harmed in the making of this experiment.) Everyone got to create their own "lava lamp" with water, oil and food coloring to take home. Then they played with the quadrilla marble run in the store for a while (I can shop all over that store and never once worry about any one of them actually getting further than 6 inches from that thing) and went to the playground. We stopped to play with Aiden on the way home and had an all around exciting afternoon! Amarra almost made it home without falling asleep!
