Beauty and the Beast

Earlier this year (during my blogging hiatus) we took the girls to see their first play.  They could hardly contain their excitement as we headed off to see Beauty and the Beast! (Since then we've been to Frogz, Madeline and the Gypsies, Alice the Looking Glass Girl, the Ballet, the Symphony and much more.  They are officially hooked.)  The performance didn't start until what is usually bedtime, but they were wide awake and so excited that they could barely stop shaking. Christian Youth Theater did a truly spectacular job...I was impressed, and I've seen the Broadway version!  The girls laughed, they cheered, they made new friends.  Best of all, after the show they got Chip, Mrs. Potts, the Beast and Belle to sign their programs and pose for pictures.  They always wanted to know about plays (when we go on dates, we usually go see one, so they were a great mystery.) and now they want to be IN them.  You never know!
